FINANCE DIRECTOR AND CFO JOBS FAQs
This is a high-earning role within the finance industry, so you can expect an average salary to sit around €95,000-€130,000 per annum in Ireland.
The average salary for a chief financial officer in the UK is higher than the finance director at €135,000 per annum. Professionals in this role can earn €120,000-€160,000, depending on the experience and skill set of the professional and the location of the employer. This can also be similar for group finance director positions in a large corporate business.
You’ll be required to have a variety of skills before you can become a finance director, including good technical accounting knowledge, commercial and business awareness, strategic planning, risk management, data presentation skills, excellent people skills, strong communication skills and beyond.
