Assistant Manager

Your new company
You will join a top 10 firm based in an attractive location in Dublin 4. They are seeking a talented and driven Assistant Manager. This is to join them on a 3-month contract basis initially with a strong chance of a permanent opportunity for the right person. My client works with a large variety of clients of all industries and sizes and has got an excellent reputation in the market.

Your new role
As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of Consulting and Internal Audit assignments. These assignments will be for both financial and non-financial in nature, and you will be designated to draft reports within the agreed timeline. You will also be responsible for supervising and directing junior auditors during audit assignments. As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the client’s obtaining information and data on each audit assignment. You will write robust and detailed reports on your findings and provide practical solutions and recommendations to the clients. You will work closely with the senior management team on any issues that arise and proactively help assist these situations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) and have full working rights in Ireland on a contract basis. You will have strong experience in internal or external audit. Demonstrate an understanding of internal audit, risk management techniques and awareness of topical issues.
You will have delivered high quality audits successfully and be confident in supervising junior auditors. Excellent communication skills are needed for this role as you will be dealing with senior management, clients and team members. Strong report writing skills are important to the success of this role as the Assistant Manager.

The hours are 9am to 5.30pm with some flexibility on this, and they offer hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
