Your new role
In your new role as a Solicitors Services Executive, you will be an integral part of the Solicitor Services team, reporting directly to the Head of the Solicitors Team. Your primary responsibilities will include offering support and guidance to practitioners, with a focus on developing and delivering practice support to sole practitioners and small firms.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing business support initiatives and serving as secretary to an accreditation committee.
- Establishing an expert panel of solicitors for practice advice.
- Investigating and developing guidance on grant support for small practices.
- Regularly reviewing and evaluating practice support and services.
- Reviewing current business support, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Developing an online practice network and collaborating with external bodies.
- Creating practice support content for eNewsletters, the website, and other publications.
- Organising and attending events.
- Supporting the Head of Solicitor Services as needed.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience: Minimum of five years in a legal environment.
- Professional Services: Proven track record in developing and project-managing member support and communication initiatives within a regulated environment.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of managing and developing small businesses.
- Content Creation: Experience of writing, creating content, and publishing articles.
- Communication and Organisation: Effective communication and organisational skills, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Project Management: Knowledge of project management is advantageous.
