Purchasing Administrator - 30,000-€35,000 - Dublin West

Your new company

Your new company is a leading building and civil engineering contractor working across several industries. They are currently looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their team.

Your new role

In this role you will support the procurement team to streamline procurement operations. This is a fully office-based role.


Your responsibilities
  • Performing general admin duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
  • Ensuring all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements
  • Ensuring approvals are in place in accordance with agreed procedures
  • Carry out due diligence on new account requests
  • Communicate with site regarding the progress of vendor set-ups
  • Update the new account trackers for all new requests, update the database and record all information in accordance with the agreed process.
  • Issues relevant forms to potential new vendors
  • Collate and review all received forms and send for managers' approval.
  • Weekly review of supplier insurance for all entities: contacting suppliers to request new insurance certificates where required, including monitoring insurance mailbox.
  • Under team guidance, review received certificates and confirm the appropriate level and type of insurance are in place: recording documentation as per agreed procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar administrative role

  • Ability to work proactively and meet deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
