Job vacancy for an Architectural Technologist in Galway


Your new company

Our client is a well-established, award winning practice based in Galway. Increased demand for projects means they are adding an Architectural Technologist to their team on a permanent basis. They have a number of residential, commercial and industrial projects nationwide. You will be involved in varying scale projects from conception to completion. They are ideally looking for a candidate with 3 or more years experience and proficient using Revit.


Your new role

In your new role as an Architectural Technologist, you will ideally have 3 or more years experience working with a practice. Your employer will offer you the opportunity to work on medium and large scale residential, commercial, industrial and public sector projects. You will have the support of an experienced team along the way who are invested in your development and career progression. You will need strong design and technical skills. Proficient in the use of Revit. Strong hand-sketching & drawing abilities and capable of producing computer generated plans/layouts/drawings. You will report to the Directors who will tailor a career progression plan for you.


What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have a third level degree in Architectural Technology or similar discipline. You will clearly outline how past projects such as residential, industrial or commercial relate to our clients' portfolio of work. Previous experience in Irish or UK markets is required. You will demonstrate your skills in Revit by providing samples of previous projects. Proficient AutoCAD or ArchiCAD.
