Finance Manager Job - South Dublin - Hybrid Working - Contract Job

A renowned property group based in Dublin are looking for a Finance Manager to join their finance team on a minimum 1 year contract, with very strong potential to extend and/or go permanent. Permanent benefits will apply to this role and the company have a strong track record of taking people permanent from contract roles. With over 300 employees and 5 different business units, this is an extremely well-established business with an excellent reputation in the market.
They offer excellent flexibility with 2-3 days a week working from home on a hybrid model. There is free parking available and you can enjoy flexible working hours, i.e start at 8am and finish at 4.30pm.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will join a wider finance team of 15 and have 4 direct reports in this role. You will be responsible for 2 business units in a broad and varied role and your duties will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs including detailed variance analysis for multiple business units, for review by the Head of Finance
- Prepare monthly KPI Reporting
- WIP reporting and monthly forecasting
- Produce the annual budget for your business units
- Reconciliations to include bank, balance sheet, intercompany, payroll
- Maintain the fixed asset register and capex analysis
- Tax compliance for business units including VAT, VIES, PAYE/PRSI and CSO returns
- Month end - prepayments, accruals, cost centre recharges, posting payroll journals
- Cash management
- Manage the annual audit, building excellent relationships with auditors and other relevant stakeholders
- Manage your team of 4 direct reports (Accounts Assistants/AR/AP), providing mentoring to help them develop and achieve their career goals, whilst encouraging them to maximise efficiency and performance
- Ad-hoc projects as they arise
What you'll need to succeed
- You will need to be a fully qualified accountant for this role - ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA with 3-10 years' PQE. Someone with small-medium practice training and some industry experience is the preferred profile.
- Management accounts preparation experience is a distinct advantage
- People management experience is essential for this role
- Full working rights are required for this role, sponsorship is not on offer for this role
- Experience with the property industry, either directly or through clients in practice in property or that have multiple locations
