Assistant Financial controller required for growing SME : North Dublin
Your new company
This pharmaceutical start-up was formed under 10 years ago and has grown over the past years. They are seeking to hire an assistant accountant to work alongside their Financial controller in the North County Dublin office. This role offers hybrid working, flexible working hours and excellent benefits for the right person.
Your new role
This company is still in its growth phase and with 2 people in the finance team in Ireland, you will be responsible for a number of key areas from invoice matching to profit and loss reporting. Duties including but not limited too :
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Budget preparation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Credit control, accounts receivable and billing
- Invoice creation, coding, matching and processing
- Project costing and tracking in line with budget
- VT and other tax returns
- Process improvement identification
- Genal office and accounts admin and more
This role is varied and offers excellent exposure to the right candidate to all facets of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will need experience working in an SME or start-up environment, within the Irish market in an all-encompassing finance role.
- You will have exposure to AR, AP and the production of management accounts.
- To be successful in this role, you will be analytical, forward-thinking and strategic.
- A strong communicator who will be comfortable working with external stakeholders from across the globe.
- ACCA part qualified, IATI qualified or similar an advantage
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise multiple focusses at once
- Ability to work as a team
- Ambitious, future focused and results-driven

You will be offered a salary based on your current experience up to €55,000 pro rata.
