Your new role
- Handle client-specific responsibilities, including managing VAT, PAYE, income tax, and corporation tax returns, and filing these returns via the ROS online system and the Companies Registration Office.
- Assist with Revenue audits and respond to day-to-day client enquiries.
- Manage daily tasks such as RCT contracts, notifications, payments, and reconciliations.
- Supervise bookkeeping activities, ensuring they are accurately prepared and organised for monthly account preparation up to Trial Balance.
- Work closely with bookkeepers to ensure the accuracy of bookkeeping tasks.
- Provide management with feedback and analysis through ad hoc reporting and data analysis.
- Performing administrative duties, including making payments on ROS and offering general office management support.
- Report to the Practice Manager, ensuring all financial information is ready for senior accountants to prepare financial statements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Practice Accountant but open to QBE
- At least 2/3 years of experience in an accountancy practice in IRELAND is essential.
- Proficiency in using Sage One Cloud System
- Experience using ROS online system and the Companies Registration Office for filings.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
