As an IT Asset Planning Team Lead in the IT Operations Team, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimising IT systems, crucial for delivering vital services. Your role will encompass the oversight of operational activities, ensuring the smooth functioning of applications related to asset planning. You’ll lead and mentor a team, fostering their growth and ensuring high-performance standards. Collaboration with business stakeholders will be key to streamlining processes and implementing system improvements. Additionally, you’ll handle software version control, business continuity, and disaster recovery for the applications under your purview.

What you'll need to succeed
- 4+ years of experience with systems such as Oracle OPC, Oracle P6, Oracle Unifier, Copper Leaf, or equivalent.
-Experience in utility asset management and asset investment prioritisation is highly desirable.
- ITIL certification and Project Management certification will be advantageous.
-relevant third-level qualification or accreditation is preferred.
-5+ years in utilities, or a similar industry is desirable.
-Track record in developing and maintaining effective partnerships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
-Experience a record of dealing with complex issues proactively and in a timely fashion.
-Highly motivated with a history of working to the highest professional standards and delivering results within a team.
-Strong analytical skills to identify problems and potential improvements, and to propose and implement solutions.
-Demonstrated adaptability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements.
