Executive Assistant in Corporate Affairs | Dublin City/Hybrid | 12 Months | €37543

Your new company

As Executive Assistant, you will join a reputable cultural institute known as Ireland's leading museum institution, with a strong emphasis on national and some international archaeology, Irish history, Irish art, culture, and natural history. Your new position is to assist in the management, development and implementation of the corporate affairs function within your new company and to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your new office is located in Dublin City and is accessible via public transport. Your new company requires you to join their team on a 12-month assignment. You will have a hybrid work model: 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.

Your new role

Your duties will include, but are not limited to; assisting with the preparation and review of strategy, policy and procedures and guidelines relevant to the Corporate Affairs area; carrying out the day-to-day Corporate Affairs functions and queries (internal and external); assisting with FOI requests as well as with overall implementation of GDPR as well all requirements under FOI; assisting with the management and coordination of public queries; assisting the Head of Corporate Affairs with legal matters; assisting with the preparation of corporate documents; assisting with compliance obligations; assisting with the rollout of the Records Management programme; assisting with rollout of strategy in relation to sustainability and climate change; assisting in maintaining Corporate Affairs files and records; providing administrative assistance to the Head of Corporate Affairs and Head of operations as required; assisting with the organisation of meetings and other events as required; liaising with the Human Resources and Finance Departments and assisting with all other duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally have recent relevant experience in a similar executive support role with experience of public sector governance and compliance.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required as you will be communicating with a diverse range of individuals and stakeholders. Excellent IT skills, including MS Suite is required. Excellent writing skills, including report writing is necessary. Strong organisational skills, including the ability to gather and research information and meet deadlines is essential. A keen eye for detail with a commitment to high standards of public sector is required.

With clear and relevant examples of your career achievements within a similar environment with proficient administrative, governance and compliance skills, you will be a very strong candidate for this role.
