Your new company
You will work in the Irish HQ of a global company that has a number of operations in Ireland. The company has been growing rapidly over the past number of years and is continuing to grow through mergers and Acquisitions. With a large workforce, employees tend to stay as they are seen as key to the companies' success.

Your new role

You will report to the Finance Manager and form part of an experienced finance team. The team consists of experienced finance professionals, so support is very close at hand. It is quite a varied position that will give you exceptional exposure to the financial reporting of a Global company. You will assist with the accounting function for multiple legal entities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the Month End and Quarterly end close for a number of entities.
  • Assist with the annual external audit.
  • Assist with the preparation of Financial analysis and KPI's.
  • Treasury.
  • Assisting with accounting systems development.
  • Continuous review and improvement of processes.
  • Supports all aspects of the Accounts Payable function - this will be non-trans-actional work.

What you'll need to succeed
  • You must be a Qualified Accountant or working towards a professional finance qualification - ACCA, CPA, Chartered.
  • Confident, strong communicator, organised with good attention to detail.
  • With a great team in place, maintaining a strong team culture is critical - you must have that mindset.
