Your new role

Forecasting and Market Analysis
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to forecast demand and plan purchasing schedules, generating build plans and demand requirements.
  • Oversee customer order management within the ERP system to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate stock levels for finished products, aligned with market trends.
ERP Systems Management
  • Develop and monitor monthly material supply plans to support production goals, measuring performance against objectives.
  • Plan and procure materials needed for manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain and update component product Bills of Materials, ensuring accurate tracking of consumption variances.
  • Manage the inventory system to ensure stock accuracy, adhering to cycle counting and expiry protocols.
Strategic Operations
  • Optimise stock levels in line with agreed KPIs for the manufacturing site.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies across the supply chain, meeting specific KPI targets.
  • Transition to a just-in-time model for raw material supply to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop supplier strategies that ensure consistent supply at optimal cost.
Logistics and Supplier Coordination
  • Anticipate company requirements by forecasting supply needs to prevent stock shortages.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regarding raw material quality and delivery timelines.
  • Supervise all inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage customs processes for both import and export activities.
Health & Safety Leadership
  • Collaborate with operational teams to address health and safety concerns.
  • Report health and safety matters to the Line Manager promptly.
  • Execute necessary communications and follow-up actions to resolve issues effectively.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance health and safety standards across the organisation.
