Experienced Structural Technician required for a construction company based in Galway

Your new role
As a Structural Design Technician, this is a superb opportunity to develop your career. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of structural engineering projects for our clients, from initial design through to production. In this challenging role, you will also be responsible for producing Precast production drawings from the models for various products including stairs, flooring, hollow-core, double wall, columns and beams. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed models & general arrangement drawings.
Liaising with customers and in-house Design Teams, you will respond to a variety of technical queries and provide key project guidance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline. Strong Tekla structures experience is essential. Preferably 2+ years’ experience in the commercial and residential sectors. Excellent communication, prioritisation and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail. The ability to manage and prioritise daily workloads. Focus on deadlines. The ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
