Is a leading main contractor and civil engineering company. Your new company is a multidisciplinary business with experience in a wide range of building and civil engineering works. They have previously completed contracts from €10,000 to more than €50m and have worked in integrated Joint Ventures more than €100m. On the civil side, they undertake projects in the road construction and upgrade projects, cycle tracks, quality bus corridors, bridge construction and refurbishment, rail works, flood alleviation and river work. On the building side of the business, they have designed and built many business parks, warehouses, and office buildings.

You will be a junior / graduate civil engineer. You will be completing Setting Out works and will be collaborating effectively with a team of experienced engineers and trades teams.

They have several civil and building projects live at the moment. Their current requirements are on road and commercial building projects. A current road project they are on is expected to run for a duration of 2 years. They have a good pipeline of work coming up across Leinster in the surrounding areas and Dublin.

Selection of duties include:

You will be responsible for assisting with setting out work, quality checks and safety reviews. Candidates will be required to attend Site Progress Meetings with various subcontractors conveying engineering knowledge to those who need it.

To be successful in this position, the below would be sought after.

A Third Level Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is essential.

Some on-site experience in a Site / Civil Engineering role with a Civil or Construction contractor developer or Main Contractor is preferable but not essential.

In return for the above, you will work for a professional main building and civil engineering contractor that have a pipeline of work including current projects to keep them busy for the next 3+ years. You will be paid a direct salary from the start.

The salary for this role is from €40,000 - €45,000 + a Commercial Vehicle. A selection of other benefits are also in place - Allowances / pension etc.
