Senior Procurement Partnership lead with a dominant energy supplier

Your new role

The Senior Partnerships Lead will be part of The Digital and Information Office who are all committed to helping meet the ambitious targets for adding renewable generation to our network and the electrification of our economy and society. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, you will be responsible for assisting with the development, execution and ongoing management of effective procurement strategies for the office, measuring risk management and financial reporting against frameworks.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Business degree or equivalent, typically with 6+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Expertise in conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions, or new ways of doing things to solve business problems, collaborating with business experts along the way.
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff to develop in their roles and support the programmes team.
  • Excellent programme management skills ensuring that appropriate controls are in place regarding budgets, schedule, quality, risk, change management and activity monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on high quality report writing and ability to communicate clearly and effectively to directorate and business stakeholders including senior management.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong track record of delivery.
  • Strong financial acumen with previous experience managing capex and opex budgets.
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm and capable of delivering in the context of changing parameters/requirements.
