Well-Established Biopharma Company-Senior Facilities Engineer Position-Dublin

Company Profile:
Here at HAYS our global biopharmaceutical client is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Engineer specialised in Soft Services on a temporary 12-month basis to work best in class production facility and office based in West Dublin.
The client is one of the top largest biopharmaceutical companies in the country and boasts a diverse product portfolio while making significant strides in the healthcare market to date.
With this role comes an excellent chance to work on a vibrant and busy site while gaining further experience in an in demand space with a competitive available.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Facility management, maintenance and repair across various sites.
  • Manage GxP and non-GxP related Service Provider contracts supporting Site Operations.
  • Through Service Providers always maintain the facility in a GMP state and audit ready.
  • Safety, Quality and non-Quality related investigations associated with service delivery from Service Providers.
  • Provide Facilities technical support and oversight to the site projects team
  • Budget management and optimisation of services delivered
  • Sanitization & cleaning of production areas, labs and support areas as required.
  • Pest Control for production areas & non-production Areas.
  • Laundry & delivery of garbing for production areas and non-production areas.
  • Catering provision in the Restaurant and break areas across the site.
  • Security systems including access control & CCTV.
  • Lab supplies and lab services support.
  • Support for regulatory and corporate audits.
Esential Requirements:
  • The successful candidate must possess Bachelors (Level 8) Science/Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience providing technical expertise on an operating site.
  • Strong leadership, performance management and employee development skills.
  • GMP experience and safety knowledge an advantage.
  • Strong project management skills i.e. budget tracking, schedule development and adherence, project reporting, etc.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated communication, administrative and leadership skills with ability to work well with other departments, and effectively and efficiently lead in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand, implement, and monitor regulatory and safety guidelines applicable to the pharmaceutical industry
