Renewables Site Mobilisation Representative - Dublin - Perm

Your new company

My client, an energy company with a diverse portfolio including renewable energy, is actively recruiting a Renewables Site Mobilisation Representative to join their Dublin Office on a permanent basis. A driver of innovation and sustainability in electricity generation, transmission, and distribution, this would be a hybrid position.

Your new role

You’ll participate in O&M design reviews, advising on O&M requirements for new sites, and providing input for design risk assessments. You’ll ensure all O&M activities on construction sites comply strictly with company Safety Rules is crucial. You’ll develop and implement Mobilisation Plans for new sites, report on progress, and create technology-specific Asset Handover plans for new projects. Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, you’ll carry out snagging inspections to assess the readiness of the plant for takeover at the Commercial Operations Date, manage warranty issues, and prepare inspection and maintenance schedules. You’ll prepare switching plans, performing HV switching, assisting with the setup of spares and materials, developing site-specific policies and procedures, and coordinating O&M reviews of the asset safety file. Acting as Site Engineer during the initial operation period, you’ll provide a timely site response in case of issues, manage service providers and contractors, ensure compliance with Safety Rules, perform initial fault-finding, and maintain plant procedures, site policies, and safety programs. You’ll comply with safety and environmental obligations, as well as outage and project management, which are also key responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll have 5 years of experience in the operation, design, or commissioning of HV equipment/generating plant ideally. You have excellent communication skills, a strong focus on safety and risk management, and be flexible and service-motivated. With strong reporting and documentation skills, you have an ability to work on your own initiative, and the capability to develop and improve procedures is essential. You’re flexible, working on and offsite as needed, accommodating site mobilisation and operational requirements. Ideally, you’re trained, authorised, and experienced in company Generation and Trading Safety Rules, an understanding of the commercial side of the generation business, and experience in front-line maintenance activities, with Technical Engineering Qualification (preferably Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent experience with plant operations is required.

They provide a progressive, hybrid working model and support career development through mentoring and training. Employees can engage in Corporate Social Responsibility opportunities, sports and social clubs, and networking events.
