Your new company

As Regulatory Administrative Manager, you will join an educational, regulatory, and representative body for working professionals (legal) in Ireland within their regulatory department. Your new office is in Dublin City and is accessible via public transport. Your new company requires you to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

As Regulatory Administrative Manager, you will work with a team of professional accountants, solicitors and regulatory executives. Your role will involve communication relating to investigations of solicitor’s practices on behalf of the committee, compiling the agenda for meetings of the committee, attending meetings of the committee and meeting the requirements of committee members before, during and after the meetings. You will be assisted by an experienced team of support staff, and you will be responsible for the management of that team’s workload.

The role also includes other miscellaneous activities to include reporting the activities of the committee to Council on a regular basis, contributing to the annual report and other functions relevant to the regulation of solicitors.

What you'll need to succeed

To become Regulatory Manager, you will ideally have recent relevant experience in a similar role within a regulatory environment. Familiarity with regulatory issues relating to the solicitor’s profession is advantageous. You will be able to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines on an ongoing basis. This role requires excellent attention to detail along with strong communication, organisational, sound judgment and IT skills.
