Quantity Surveyor for residential site based in Cork.
Your new company
They have a proven track record of delivering projects to the highest of standards in sectors including Commercial & Retail, Residential, Industrial, Transportation and Site Infrastructure. As a result of continued expansion or to help with their growth projection for the coming years, they are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for their residential site based in Cork.
Your new role
You'll join a high-performing team and report directly to the Commercial Manager. You'll be responsible for liaising with clients from initial queries through to final accounts, preparing measures and work packages for procurement and valuation purposes. You'll be responsible for negotiating and purchasing, subsequent account management and final agreement. You'll prepare reports including cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally, you will be a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years experience,
- You'll be proficient in relevant software as well as MS Project, Excel etc.
- The ability to use time productively and efficiently to meet challenging project goals.
- Strong communication skills are important as you will be liaising with management dealing with internal stakeholders and commercial representatives.
