A Project Manager is required in Galway to work on retrofit energy construction projects.

Your new company

Our client is a contracting company based in Galway, specialising in deep energy retrofits. They provide energy efficiency solutions for residential and commercial buildings within the public and private sectors. Some of the works will include insulation systems, ventilation systems, windows, heat systems, solar PV, air tightness and general construction works. They are now looking to recruit a Project Manager to work on projects across Galway and the west of Ireland.
You will report directly to the managing director.

Role Description:
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing retrofitting projects, coordinating with clients, homeowners, subcontractors, foremen and site personnel, working to safety, quality and environmental standards. Hours of Work: 8am to 5pm

Key Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a construction related course.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with an ability to manage various trades and prioritise work effectively.
  • Familiarity with Building Regulations and SR54 Code of Practice for retrofitting works is an advantage. Strong proficiency in computer literacy and software associated with managing projects.
  • Knowledge of H&S legislation and all other relevant regulations.
  • Quality and results focused with strong attention to detail, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    Excellent organisational and managerial ability with strong communication skills.

  • Authorisation to work in Ireland
  • Speak fluent English
