Your new company

Your new company is a regulatory body, responsible for developing and inspecting standards within the healthcare sector. They now require a Programme Manager on a contract basis.

Your new role

Looking for an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging and varied role in the healthcare sector? We are currently looking for a Programme Manager to join the team and help coordinate the work of the Directorate.

As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing project leads, liaising with external stakeholders, and overseeing the administration. You will also be responsible for tracking performance against business plan objectives. You'll have the opportunity to lead on quality improvement and learning and development initiatives, ensuring that the HTA Quality Assurance Framework, policies and procedures are up-to-date. You'll also play a key role in implementing quality, risk and compliance processes, coordinating ISO audits and preparing regular corporate performance and risk reports.

What you'll need to succeed

With a degree qualification (Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent in a relevant discipline, you will have at least three years' experience of working on the delivery of projects and process management. You will have a proven track record in team working and delivering high-quality outputs within tight timelines. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be presenting information through a variety of means to a range of audiences. You will have previous experience in quality, risk, and compliance processes. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with academic partners and other national and international bodies involved. Healthcare/scientific and/or clinical backgrounds are an advantage but not essential.
