An exciting opportunity opened in Little Island for a Part-Qualified Accountant.

Your new role

• Processing all bank transactions and preparing bank reconciliations for our NI operations.
• Assisting in the preparation and submission of tax and VAT returns.
• Preparation of accounts to trial balance stage.
• Month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain all transaction processing, including A/P, A/R, GL and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Weekly payroll processing using Sage 50 system.
• Manage the company’s debtors and creditors and optimising its working capital.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3-5 Years Experience in a similar role – Desirable.
• Ideally, you will be pursuing an ACA / ACCA / CPA accreditation.
• Previous experience with accounts processes, NI Payroll and HMRC,
  a distinct advantage
• Proven IT skills, proficiency with Excel/MS word/Office - essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
