Mechanical Maintenance Fitter required near Dublin City Centre

Your new role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and repairs on various mechanical systems within the water treatment plant. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Servicing and maintaining pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of filtration and treatment systems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in mechanical maintenance within a water treatment or similar industrial environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • A proactive approach to work and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
