My client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their busy Finance team. The appointed individual will report to the Finance Manager and will be based in Dublin West with hybrid working arrangements available. This role will primarily focus on preparing management accounts for locations within the construction industry.

Your new role

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts promptly
• Examine monthly production costs and identify variances
• Reconcile monthly balance sheets and manage inventory
• Collaborate with directors, senior managers, and other departments for month-end reporting
• Aid in the preparation and review of annual budgets
• Provide support to senior management by preparing ad hoc reports
• Assist with the annual audit process
• Perform various additional duties as needed

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA)
• Strong industry experience in management accounts, creating accounts, and overseeing various locations
• Deadline-oriented, capable of managing multiple tight deadlines.
• Excellent at building relationships with senior stakeholders
• Demonstrates good initiative and a thorough approach to work.
• Ambitious and dedicated individual
• Experience with Oracle Financials or similar accounting software is advantageous

What you'll get in return

• Salary: €70,000
• Bonus: Standard bonus and performance-related bonus
• Work Arrangement: 3 days in office, 2 days remote; flexible days and hours (9am to 5pm)
