Your new role

The Management Accountant will be a key team member, contributing significantly by supporting the creation of consistent and high-quality monthly reports and both short-term and long-term forecasts.
  • Assisting the Finance Manager and local management in producing well-supported forecasts, budgets, and medium-term strategies for assigned business streams and cost centers, ensuring adherence to internal controls, guidelines, and deadlines.
  • Help prepare business stream forecasts, contributing to the overall Market Unit consolidation.
  • Upload forecasts and budgets to accounting software
  • Prepare, upload, and verify phasing (P&L/Balance Sheet/Key Figures, FTE).
  • Ensure thorough checks and balances on forecasting
  • Prepare business stream month-end journals
  • Prepare month-end management reports
  • Report monthly management figures via SAP
  • Produce monthly sales reports and models
  • Generate monthly cost center reports and analyses
  • Create stock reports and key performance indicators
  • Conduct year-end revaluation (preparation and reconciliation)

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this position, you should be either fully qualified or part-qualified, with strong experience in a management accountant role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP business IT systems, particularly SAP, is essential. You will have experience of budgeting and forecasting in a similar role. You need to be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and skilled at developing proactive solutions to business challenges. A drive to own and enhance processes, along with a growth mindset, is crucial. Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills are also key to succeeding in this role.

What you'll get in return

The role offers a competitive salary of €60,000 - €65,000 depending on experience and a potential annual bonus. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days remotely each week. During the month-end cycle, three days per month are required in the UK. The position features flexible hours from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and includes parking facilities. Employees can enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with free food. The annual leave starts at 25 days, increasing to 27 days after five years, with options to buy or sell holidays. The benefits package includes private medical care for single employees, pension contributions, and coverage of professional fees. The company also supports relevant studies and offers an annual objective-based bonus.
