Your new role

  • Inspecting, adjusting, rebuilding, laser aligning, balancing, and levelling pumps, fans, and other rotating machinery.
  • Performing welding repairs and installations.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance on all plant mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and correcting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
  • Participating in plant shutdown work and assisting with warehouse and operations tasks.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area and supporting on-site safety and quality initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Time-served Mechanical Fitter with qualifications in Mechanical Automation, Maintenance, Manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Experience in a waste industry is desirable but not essential.
  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Additional safety training (e.g., Safe Pass, MEWP) is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
