Logistics Administrator | Perm | Cork

Your new company

Our client, a well-established and highly successful import and food distribution company, specialises in the distribution of frozen food products. Due to continued growth, are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team at our Cork office.
This is a full-time, office-based position, offering the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment and gain valuable exposure to various aspects of the logistics and supply chain process.

Your new role

The candidate is responsible for coordinating and scheduling daily deliveries, communicating with customers to provide updates and resolve queries, liaising with cold storage facilities to manage stock movement, organising and booking transport for shipments, and preparing and issuing invoices accurately and promptly.

What you'll need to succeed

The job requires a candidate with at least 2 years of office-based administrative experience, strong organisational and multitasking skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment. A third-level qualification is preferred but not essential, and occasional travel to the UK office in Manchester is required.
