As the Head of Sustainability, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of the sustainability strategy.
- Translate strategy into actionable programmes and plans.
- Set measurable targets and monitor progress.
- Develop policies to ensure compliance with sustainability regulations.
- Provide insights on global and local sustainability trends.
- Build relationships with industry bodies, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Offer expertise and advice on sustainability to stakeholders.
- Champion sustainability within the company culture.
- Evaluate and improve sustainability activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry accreditation schemes.
- Develop an annual sustainability report.
- Prepare reports and proposals for senior leadership.
- Manage documentation, budgets, and financials.
- Prepare funding documentation for environmental initiatives.
- Facilitate sustainability training for colleagues and partners.

What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years of senior-level experience with multiple stakeholders and projects.
- Good Insight into the FMCG industry
- Experience of leading large programmes/projects.
- Extensive knowledge of sustainability practices and regulations.
- Strong leadership and change management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
