What you'll be working on
As the Head of Sustainability, you will:
  • Lead the development and execution of the sustainability strategy.
  • Translate strategy into actionable programmes and plans.
  • Set measurable targets and monitor progress.
  • Develop policies to ensure compliance with sustainability regulations.
  • Provide insights on global and local sustainability trends.
  • Build relationships with industry bodies, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Offer expertise and advice on sustainability to stakeholders.
  • Champion sustainability within the company culture.
  • Evaluate and improve sustainability activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry accreditation schemes.
  • Develop an annual sustainability report.
  • Prepare reports and proposals for senior leadership.
  • Manage documentation, budgets, and financials.
  • Prepare funding documentation for environmental initiatives.
  • Facilitate sustainability training for colleagues and partners.
Who you'll be working for
You will be working for a leader, FMCG in Ireland, and have an excellent opportunity for the Head of Sustainability to join the team.

What you'll need to succeed
  • 5+ years of senior-level experience with multiple stakeholders and projects.
  • Good Insight into the FMCG industry
  • Experience of leading large programmes/projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of sustainability practices and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and change management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
