Your new role

• Oversee the Annual Audit and Statutory Accounts preparation and filing.
• Foster and maintain strong partnerships with both Internal and External Audit teams.
• Supervise all Revenue audits and information requests, ensuring meticulous governance and prompt resolution of any identified issue.
• Ensure robust governance and oversight of the company’s SOx framework, maintaining vigilant supervision of the SOx testing program.
• Provide support to management for the timely identification and resolution of any SOx deficiencies.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with all company tax filings and requirements, providing review and guidance on legislative changes.
• Lead comprehensive reviews of business processes and systems to pinpoint areas for process enhancements and control improvements.
• Identify opportunities for control standardisation and rationalisation across Ireland Materials, driving efficiency and consistency.
• Coordinate annual insurance renewals and handle ad hoc insurance requests.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully Qualified Accountant.
• Big 4 or Top 6 at senior Level.
• 6–8 years of Industry Experience at senior level (If not from an Audit Firm).
• Excellent experience with IFRS, US GAAP & Sox compliance.
• Strong Audit and Compliance experience.
• Be results-driven, showing strong initiative.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and shareholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Foster innovation to move the company forward.
• Solid, steady CV with 3/4 years per role.
