As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements, managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax laws and financial regulations, conducting financial analysis, and continuously improving financial processes and systems. You will oversee the financial reporting process, including the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. You will coordinate external audits, liaise with auditors, and address any audit findings or recommendations. You will also stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and ensure the organisation's financial practices align with the latest regulations. You will also assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing input on financial targets and resource allocation. What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for the Financial Controller role must be fully qualified with over 10 years of industry experience, preferably in construction, though experience in property, manufacturing, or wholesale is also advantageous. We are seeking a hard-working and diligent professional who is committed to excellence and innovation in financial management.

What you'll get in return

The position offers a negotiable salary range of €80k to €90k and is fully office-based. The office hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with some flexibility if needed. Parking is available on site. 21 days annual leave is offered and pension is negotiable depending on your package and needs.
