Financial Accountant - Property Industry - Hybrid working - City centre office

Your new company
A leading Irish property company with operations in Ireland, the UK and US. The group is involved in property management and investment with an extensive high-end commercial property portfolio.

Your new role
They are currently seeking an accountant to join a small technically skilled team, who will have responsibility for a number of companies within the group. Duties include:

    • Preparing financial reports and accounting for group companies
    • Preparing year-end audits and acting as point of contact with auditors, managing all queries
    • Income and expenditure analysis and reporting
    • Working to internal quarterly reporting deadlines and additional external reporting
    • Budgeting and expenditure control
      • Prepare bank account reconciliations for a volume of bank accounts
      • Preparation of VAT returns for both Irish and UK companies
      • Intercompany accounting and reconciliations

What you'll need to succeed
  • You must be a fully qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA
  • Experienced with preparing monthly management accounts, financial reporting and audit
  • Ideally experience in industry with above duties, but candidates coming from small accountancy background with accounts prep experience also a suitable fit (pure audit experience is not currently being considered by this client)
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role so you must currently have full working rights for Ireland already
