Your new role

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Accounts Payable, accounts receivable
• Payroll
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, analysing variances and performance against budget.
• Conduct monthly and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting, ensuring efficient cash management.
• Oversee and ensure timeliness of tax compliance and reporting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.
• Provide financial insights and advice to management, supporting strategic initiatives and decision-making.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, G-Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
