Your new role

• Authorise loan payments to members, adhering to established limitations regarding amount, duration, terms of repayment, and required security.
• Forward loans outside the officer’s remit but within the organisation's Credit Policy to the appropriate level for consideration.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records.
• Regularly report to the CEO/Assistant Manager, keeping them informed of all relevant matters.
• Act as Member Service Officer when required.
• Attend training programmes and workshops as needed.
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations.
• Attend and contribute to meetings as directed by the CEO and board of directors.
• Undertake other reasonable and lawful duties as directed by the CEO.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong understanding of lending processes and financial regulations, however we are willing to train you up in this area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to providing exceptional member service.
