Your new role

As a Chemist at Dublin Stations, you will:

  • Manage all plant chemistry-related matters to ensure high availability, efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Prioritise chemical safety to protect the public, personnel, and plant.
  • Ensure compliance with station licences and technical standards.
  • Engage in project engineering and manage projects during overhauls.
  • Ensure effective operation of water treatment and electrochlorination plants.
  • Manage registers for chemical equipment and bulk chemicals.
  • Develop and implement chemical monitoring matrices for continuous and daily analysis.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A primary degree in Chemistry or equivalent, or a background in Chemical Engineering
  • Proven track record in managing plant chemistry and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and drive innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and the ability to work as part of a team.
