Electrical supervisor required for market leading manufacturer in Kinnegad

Your new roleThe Purpose of the job is to plan and execute the electrical, instrumentation and control scope of all projects for the manufacturing plant.
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
• Providing leadership in developing a safe work culture in plant by supporting various safety initiatives.
• Supervising contract personnel, ensuring all safety systems and procedures are followed.
• Scoping, budgeting, planning and executing electrical projects.
• Designing, planning and implementing electrical project and infrastructure work, supervising this work where necessary.
• Identifying and liaising with all key stakeholders during project design and execution stages, while also identifying opportunities for the electrical maintenance team to prepare, upskill, learn before new operating equipment goes live.
• Liaising with suppliers and consultants to resolve technical issues where necessary and develop relationships outside the business.
• Overseeing and develop the electrical documentation and drawings system with respect to all new projects.
• Having availability to assist in resolving electrical issues out-of-hours when necessary.
• Deputising for the electrical line manager from time to time during annual leave or other periods of absence.
• Undertaking such other duties within the competence and capacity of the jobholder as the line manager may assign from time to time
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading a team of electricians.
High level of problem-solving skills and technical awareness.
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
Instrumentation & Controls Experience in Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
