Manufacturing Customer service Team Lead

Your new role
  • Oversee a designated group of Customer Service Agents and/or specialists to assist a customer-focused company. By proactively managing the customer's experience, accepting responsibility for the expectations of the customer, and offering creative service solutions, you can increase customer loyalty.
  • Make sure that everyone follows safe working procedures at all times. Learn about the work instructions, related documentation, and health and safety protocols. Respect all health and safety policies and guidelines, and actively participate in the company's efforts to encourage safe work practices and safe behaviour.
  • Make sure that the policies and procedures of the organisation are followed when managing each team member. Arrange, coordinate, and oversee the team's work activities.
  • Mentoring and coaching, training initiatives, disciplinary actions and grievances, absence control, enquiries, and performance reviews.
  • In charge of identifying and completing the training needs of team members as well as providing performance feedback and team leadership and mentoring.
  • Demonstrate and foster the company’s Core Values within the defined CS group.
  • Support the business strategy through the creation of customer-centric service processes, standards and metrics.
  • By proactively managing the customer's experience, taking responsibility for their expectations, offering creative service solutions, and upholding an "ease of doing business" atmosphere, you can cultivate a loyal customer base.
  • Building relationships with customers through visits, customer feedback, participation in tours, assisting on projects and addressing service needs/issues.
  • Partner with Operations/Supply Chain to review schedules, anticipate and mitigate potential issues and collaborate on meeting customer expectations.
  • Monitor and report on lead times by product group and by asset.

What you'll need to succeed
  • You will ideally have experience in a similar role, although this is not essential.
  • Strong management background and leadership skills.
  • With clear and relevant examples of your career achievements within a similar role, you will be a very strong candidate for this role.
