You will be joining a well-known state agency on a 12-month contract initially.

As the Communication & Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of a communications strategy to engage with staff. You will work alongside senior leadership to build an understanding of the organisational culture, ensuring all internal communications are aligned. You will deliver strategies, plans, activities and activities across the organisation. Engage with staff and imbed new processes and ways of working. Write content for a variety of internal communication channels and support leaders to develop effective internal communication behaviours. Develop metrics to monitor the effectiveness of these initiatives, ensuring relevant organisational policies are met. Event management, collaborative engagement with all Directors and provide advice to project teams, HR Team and colleagues as well as various other duties as needed.

As the successful candidate, you will hold relevant education in communications or a similar field. You will have at least 3 years’ experience delivering organisational level engagement to large companies. You will have relevant examples of delivering organisational engagement and cultural change initiatives.
