Business Analyst - Contract

This company is a reputable organisation to work in one of the world's biggest manufacturers within the healthcare space.


Your new role
  • Build use cases, writes, manages and clarifies user stories, visualisation, and process flows
  • Explain how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint and drive/improve the user experience
  • Stay 2–3 sprints ahead of squad and ensures each feature has a clear definition of done; ensures each feature level deliverable is aligned to a definition of readiness to enter sprint
  • Communicate vision to developers and testers
  • May help write UAT scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing as needed
  • Documents confirmed business processes to serve as reference for development and IT support
  • Apply business process improvement methods for optimisation
  • In partnership with the PO, maintain a deep understanding of the business processes and requirements to ensure that the squad’s backlog priorities are aligned with business / Group needs
  • Track metrics and build reports to measure progress
  • Help manage dependencies with other squads’, working closely with squad PO, peer PAs and the Product Manager
  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, ensures SDLC documentation, system configuration and compliance activities are up-to-date as required
  • Understands portfolio of IT systems that the business uses; may specialise in specific applications and, as such, hold deep product / BPM expertise
  • Support and/or facilitate system demos via inspect and adapt workshops as needed


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelors in Technology Sciences, Economics or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant experience preferred in Healthcare industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of leading complex projects.
  • Must be able to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively.
  • Must have good organisational and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence others at all levels within the organisation.
  • Good facilitation skills and the ability to work across organisations and unite diverse individuals with disparate goals enable productive discussion and outcomes.
  • Strong influencer with the ability to successfully navigate change and drive success across teams.
  • Good organisational, planning and prioritisation skills; good oral and written communication skills.


What you'll get in return

  • Pay rate between €400 - 450 per day (Dependent on experience).

Eligibility

  • Currently living in Ireland.
  • Flexible to work in a hybrid setting 2 days a week in Limerick.
  • Currently holding an EEA passport or valid Stamp 4 visa. (Visa must be for duration of contract).
  • Immediate starter (if possible)
