Part-time Bookkeeper - Dublin City Centre

Your new Company

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookkeeper to join a busy architectural firm based in Dublin City Centre. This role is part-time, providing either 3 full days or 4 half-day working weeks. This position also offers hybrid working and is an excellent opportunity to work independently in a busy environment.

Your new role

You will be tasked with duties such as :

  • Preparing financial statements for trial balance
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Cashflow management
  • Billing and credit control
  • Payroll processing and reporting including management of staff expenses
  • Budget and forecasting
  • Oversee the AP and AR processes
  • Liaising with external auditors for year-end accounts
  • Preparing monthly VAT returns
Other ad-hoc finance and insurance-related duties as required

What you need to succeed

To be considered, you must have :
  • 5 + years experience in a similar position
  • Part-qualified, or studying towards a professional qualification - either ATI or ACCA
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately review data, and report on key metrics to finance and non-finance senior management
  • Data-driven, analytically minded
