Automation Engineer (BAS)

Your new company

Here at Hays we have a fantastic opportunity with our biopharmaceutical client in Dublin.
Reporting to the Associate Director Automation Systems the Building Automation System Engineer will support the Building Automation System (BAS) and other Utility Automation Systems as required.

Your new role

  • Supporting Building Automation System (BAS) (Siemens DesigoCC) and other Utility Automation Control systems.
  • Support upgrade projects
  • Provide troubleshooting and hands-on support to resolve technical issues.
  • Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines.
  • Ensuring that equipment works to its specification.
  • Creating and carrying out test procedures and automation change controls.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, or a related engineering field or its equivalent.
  • At least 5 years experience providing Building Automation / Building Management system solutions and support to manufacturing organisations in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry or similar is required.
  • Experience during project delivery and operations support.
  • Experience working with Air Handling Units (AHU) / HVAC and other critical utility systems such as cooling towers, compressors.
  • Experience with Siemens DesigoCC, Siemens Xworks.
