A retail company in Ireland is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant for its finance department in Little Island, Cork. If you are a qualified Accounting Technician or equivalent and have a track record working in a busy accounting environment, this is an excellent opportunity to develop a rewarding career with a highly successful retail group.

Your new role
The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the finance department.

What you'll need to succeed
Financial Qualification
2+ years’ experience (practice or multi-national experience would be preferable)
Experience in a busy accounting environment
Excellent analytic skills, with strong attention to detail
Excellent PC skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
Team player with the ability to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines
