Architectural Technologist role with well-known Architectural Practice

Hays has been retained to recruit an Architectural Technologist for a large, well known Architectural Practice with offices in Dublin and Cork.
Your new role
Our client are looking for a confident and forward-thinking Architectural Technologist to join their Cork studio and contribute to a multi-disciplinary major projects design team.
Responsibilities include:
Working both autonomously and with direction to achieve desired results.Collaborating with design team, stakeholders and senior architects.
Modelling and drafting with AutoCAD, Revit and other design tools.
This role will suit someone who takes the initiative, seeks out opportunities for improvement and is a clear communicator.
What you'll need to succeed
5-7 years’ experience with a focus on technical design and building regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design software. Familiarity with 3D modelling and BIM is essential. Revit skills are also essential to this role.
In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, planning laws, and construction processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
High level of attention to detail in producing accurate drawings and technical documentation.
Ability to troubleshoot design and technical issues, and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Excellent organisational skills, the ability to plan and work to agreed timelines, a thorough, diligent approach to work and driven to see things through to completion
Ability to adapt to changing requirements, and work within a fast-paced environment
Proficient user of software packages relevant to specific tasks, with the ability to engage with various packages
