Accounts Manager required for busy role based in D15 - Salary to €55,000 - Permanent and secure role
Your new company
This distribution business have been growing from strength to strength over the past years. Having acquired some smaller companies, they are growing their headcount and require a new Accounts' manager to join the team to process accounts for a specific entity within the group. This role is based in Dublin 15 - easily accessible from Meath, Louth, Kildare and Dublin North. The office is not easily accessible via public transport given the location within a business park, so applicants are preferred to hold a full drivers' licence.
Your new role
You will be responsible for varied duties while managing accounts for this entity, including but not limited to :
- Month end accounts production to sign off
- Profit and loss reporting
- Accruals and prepayments
- Customs payments
- VAT and other taxes such as import tax reporting
- Accounts Payable cover
- Credit control and debtor management
- Financial reporting
- Journal posting
- General bookkeeping and accounts admin as required
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced accounts professional, who has worked within SME's or medium-sized Irish companies previously, with a good understanding of the market and the day to day running of the accounts team.
Desirable's
Part qualified - ACCA or similar OR fully ATI qualified
Exposure to the distribution / logistics industry
Experience with ERP system Access or similar an advantage (not required, full system training provided)
Exposure or experience with systems implementation desired
