Your new company

This organisation have been operational for more than 30 years, supplying into the construction industry, they have become a well-known name in their field. They are seeking to hire an experienced Accounts assistant to join the business due to recent growth. The office is based in Co. Meath, this role will be office-based and offers good scope to grow.

Your new role

You will be tasked with duties such as, but not limited to -

• High volume invoice processing (AR & AP)
• Bank account management
• Reconciliations
• Reporting on debt due
• Credit control
• Supplier account creation
• Query resolution
• Reporting on key areas within AP / AR

Other ad-hoc accounts duties as requested by the finance manager

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally be ATI qualified or working towards, with previous exposure to both credit control and payables in previous roles in the Irish market. Experience working in the construction industry is an advantage but not necessary. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well on your own initiative, and prioritise work. Sage 50 or similar systems experience an advantage. Given the location, you must hold a driving licence and your own transport as the office is not accessible by bus or public transport.
