Accounting Technician required for busy construction company in Dublin 15

Your new company

This construction company is a leader in their field. They are growing their finance team and looking to add another experienced Accounts assistant the team.
The office is based in Dublin 15. This role is office based due to the industry and company needs.

Your new role

You will be tasked with the daily management of an AP ledger. Duties include :
  • High volume invoice processing
  • Invoice matching and coding
  • Vendor set up for new accounts
  • Cash management and monitoring on a daily basis
  • Month-end reporting
  • Accounts preparation
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Good received not invoices admin (GRNI)
  • Audit preparation
  • Involvement in projects and more
Other ad-hoc AP and general finance duties may be required from time to time.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have relevant previous exposure to payables and knowledge of general accounting and ideally have exposure to the duties mentioned above. Experience working at a fast pace and on your own initiative to prioritise is required.
You will be a driven and ambitious professional who is looking to take on their next challenge. This role features a high amount of external communication and relaying information and reports to senior leaders within the business, excellent interpersonal communication required.
