Your new company
As HR Business Partner, you will join a leading Irish semi-state utility company who are responsible for the delivery and maintenance of utilities across Ireland. Your new office is conveniently located in Dublin City and offers a hybrid work model; 2 days in the office, 3 days at home. Your new company requires you to join their team for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Your new role
As HR Business Partner, you will be part of the Business Partnering Team. Reporting to the HR Specialist, the HR Business Partner supports the local implementation and application of HR policy and strategy, represents the needs of the business in HR, and provides dedicated local support to the business across a wide range of HR areas.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to, supporting the management and execution of HR strategy and providing line managers with HR expertise on all people-related matters, e.g., policies and processes, incident management, end-to-end recruitment process, contingent workers, termination /contract expiry, leave management etc. You will analyse HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations to management. Additionally, you will support the Business Partnering team to deliver and govern headcount management, resourcing, attraction & retention strategy aligned to the payroll budget for the functional area. You will draw on theory, research, and best practice to provide solutions tailored to functional area specifics, along with any ad-hoc and administrative duties that fall into your new role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have recent relevant experience along with a relevant third level qualification. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements and propose and implement solutions is required. You will have a proven track record with dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to communicate information to others. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills with the ability to deliver results is essential.
