Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Utilities Operations and Maintenance, this role will specifically support the site Electrical and Life Safety systems, and electrical components of Utility systems and infrastructure, for example boilers, compressors, chillers, water (potable/city/softened etc.), Wastewater Treatment Plant. The role will also support the oversight of the Hard Services Provider.

· Working with the Critical Utilities Operations and Maintenance team to maximise Critical Utility equipment.
· This will include optimisation and development of plant operation, maintenance plans, standard operating procedures, risk assessments etc.
· Ensuring that maintenance standards are set to ensure safe and reliable operations by driving Reliability Excellence.
· Reviewing vendor documents and reports, and managing the effective close out of Work Orders on site CMMS
· Diagnose and troubleshoot Utility system issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
· Overseeing service delivery and maintaining and growing relationships with Service Providers in partnership with BMS stakeholders such as Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Procurement, global departments.
· Ensuring all the operating systems are in compliance with all Regulatory and Legal requirements including, EPA licence, Quality (cGDP/GMP’s), EHS, Global Engineering, design & construction directives, requirements & procedures.
· Technical input for Utility O&M during all stages of project development and ensuring key deliverables are met to facilitate hand-over of projects to the Operations team
· Participation in regulatory and corporate audits
Qualifications Required:
· Bachelors (Level 8) or Master’s Degree in a relevant Science/Engineering discipline with at least 6 years’ experience providing technical expertise on an operating site
· Experience in Operating and Maintaining Utility systems in biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility is advantageous
· Strong knowledge of Utility system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshootingwith ability to interpret technical documents and process drawings
· Broad knowledge of Process Design, Good Manufacturing Practices, Maintenance systems, and industry regulations related to the manufacture of pharmaceutical products
· Ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment and meet deadlines. Good delegation, organizing and planning skills.
· Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues, with an ability to explain complex systems in simple terms
· Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, and local community and regulatory agencies to meet site and business requirements
· High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
