Accounts Assistant - South Dublin

Your new company

A government body in the not-for-profit sector, based in South Dublin, is looking to hire an Accounts Assistant on a full-time basis to join their finance team. This position offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements after training, opportunities for growth, and a salary of up to €45,000 DOE

Your new role

In your new role, you will manage the accounts payable and receivable functions. You will also handle bank reconciliations and support the team with all aspects of month-end duties. You will report to the senior accountant and interact with external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will need at least 2+ years of experience in a busy finance team. Working towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA or ATI, along with experience in the not-for-profit sector, would be advantageous. The accounting software used is Sage. Effective communication skills are essential as this role involves stakeholder management.
