Your New Role
As a Building Surveyor with a background in project management, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of social housing projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensuring compliance with building regulations, ventilation standards, and tenancy regulations.
  • Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Conducting site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Utilising your expertise in Microsoft Excel for project tracking and reporting.

What You'll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
  • 3–5 years of experience with a strong understanding of specifications in social housing.
  • Proven experience as a quantity surveyor or building surveyor.
  • Extensive project management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations, ventilation standards, and tenancy regulations.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Practical experience in construction, including knowledge of guttering, ventilation systems, and general construction practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites across Leinster and surrounding areas, including Carlow, Cavan, and Dublin.
  • Flexibility to work from home when not on-site.
