Your new role

• Support a wide range of scientific instrumentation located within the hospital, pharmaceutical and industrial environment, initially being OEM trained and working on Becton Dickinson Microbiology and Epredia Histology and Cytology instrumentation.
• Provide technical support, repair, installation and commissioning of leading brands in scientific instrumentation
• Perform routine maintenance as per the manufacturers' guidelines
• Develop and maintain a good relationship with all customers
• Work with service administration to schedule regular customer maintenance/breakdowns to ensure KPI targets are met
• Has strong PC knowledge of Windows-based OS both hardware and software

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of a Science Engineering degree or equivalent or 2 years' relevant industry experience and qualifications
• A full clean driving licence is essential.
• Experience in fault-finding & problem-solving
• Strong PC skills
• Successful completion of Garda Vetting
• Flexibility & availability to travel and work away from home when required
